T50-Cheetah GSM1 transmits via the mobile phone network, which means that it has a largely unlimited range. It can be used advantageously for applications where there is a requirement for longer range, e.g. to control heating and lighting, alarms indicating faults, to mention a few. It supports the EGSM 900, DCS 1800 and PCS 1900 mobile networks, i.e. triple band. GSM1 communicates with a mobile phone either via a telephone call or via a coded text message.
