The latest born in the family which has the aim to be open to simple applications with the competitive advantages of Power technology; essentially Power R is the controller “All In One” for everybody, which is efficiently in competition to the classic union PLC + HMI permitting to face “motion control” applications with the operative comfort and typical calculation power of a CNC.
It can be defined as a semi centralized controller because it’s equipped “on board” with a few I/O and all the necessary sources to manage 2 interpolated axis interfacing wired logic drives; the task to decentralize machine’s I/O is committed instead to the widespread and cheap fieldbus CANopen which, thanks to the diagnostic window referring to the constant net’s supervision, it can be managed in start up and service operations even by non expert personnel.
