The TMS370 CDT supports all TMS370 family members. This real-time, in-circuit emulator is a single board that plugs into an expansion slot of your PC or can be used externally on a test bench with a connection to the PC via an RS232 port. Through the use of an appropriate target cable, which matches the pin out of the application's microcontroller, the CDT can connect to the application board's microcontroller socket and emulate the proper TMS370 device. Features of the CDT include: program counter trace, integrated EPROM/EEPROM programmer, Assembler/Linker, and symbolic debugger. The user must supply a PC with Windows. When the CDT is configured for use externally, the user must also supply a 5V power supply and an RS232 cable.
