Ceramic packing is manufactured from high performance ceramic fibre yarns reinforced with either glass or inconel. They are suitable for use at temperatures up to 1260˚C depending on the application. They are resistant to most chemicals except phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid and concentrated alkalis. They are non-combustible, have low thermal conductivity and are resistant to thermal shock.
