E Glass Knitted Tape Black (AB) (6mm)Manufactured from mechanically bulked E Type glass fibre yarn and has been developed as an ideal medium for thermal insulation and heat sealing applications.Knitted constructions tend to be softer, have more loft and more stretch than woven constructions.The basic fibres are lightweight, resilient, incombustible and suitable to 550°C.The tape is resistant to oils, most chemicals and solvents, will not rot, and is unaffected by bacterial growth.An adhesive backing has been applied to aid with applying the product in situ.
