E Glass Fibre Rope Lagging (Textured Full Coverage Knit Overbraid): our E Glass Rope lagging is manufactured from a low density blown glass fibre core, which is fully enclosed in a braided cover of textured glass yarn. It is extra soft and pliable, inorganic, sterile and incombustible. They are resistant to oils, solvents and most chemicals and have a low level of leachable chlorides and fluorides. It is suitable for temperatures up to 550°C and have low thermal conductivity. It also has excellent thermal insulation and a suitable replacement for asbestos. Most importantly, it will not rot or release fumes and it is very resilient with good space filling properties.
