Description
Vermiculite Coated E Glass Fibre Braided (Plaited) Textured: Textile Technologies Vermiculite Coated E Glass plaited sleeving is manufactured from air textured filament E Glass yarns coated with an aqueous vermiculite dispersion which provides a coating of platelets, which at high temperature melt to form further protection.
The air textured E glass yarn ensures a high volume of entrapped air and consequent good thermal insulation. The base fibres are lightweight, resilient, incombustible and suitable for operation in application up to 1000°C (short term) 550°C (continuous).
