Description

S-TEX Continuous Filament Yarn: our S-TEX Continuous Filament Yarns are made from special glass yarns which contains a minimum of 94% silicon dioxide which ensures the yarns can withstand temperatures of 1000°C. Yarns made from silica fabric have low thermal conductivity, high resistance to thermal shock, superb electric insulation characteristics at high temperatures acid and alkali resistance (up to pH14) in comparison with fibres made of E Glass and Basalt. They operate effectively under conditions of cyclical thermal loads.
