Rope S-TEX Silica Fibre Packing

S-TEX Silica Fibre Packing: our S-TEX silica packings are braided entirely using 6µ continuous filament textured silica yarns. They cause little irritation and are resistant to 1000°C. Its standard density packings have good spring-back and consequently high resistance to breaking. The base fibres are inorganic, sterile and flame proof and they have low thermal conductivity, are resistance to oils and they do not rust. Our S-TEX Silica Fibre Packing exhibits excellent chemical stability resisting attack from organic agents, water and hot acids (except hydrofluoric acid). It does not vitrify and is an excellent substitution for ceramic fibre rope packing.
