Stainless Steel Knitted Sleeving: our stainless steel knitted sleeves are made by weaving fine stainless steel yarns into a tubular meshwork so as to make them particularly elastic and, therefore, the ideal solution for covering purposes. They can also be made by knitting steel yarns with aramid fibre leading to a reduction in cost.
The stainless steel makes the sleeve particularly resistant to high temperatures and prevents thermal shocks in the production of glass items. This helps facilitate maintenance work as they are easy to remove and change the roller covering. The spring effect on a thicker structure allows for better shock absorption in case of glass dropping. It is adjustable to variable diameters (centering devices) and rated to 650°C.
