The metal detector/checkweigher combo provides both checkweighing and metal detection with a minimum space requirement. This system features the superior performance and accuracy of a Ramsey checkweigher with the high sensitivity of a Thermo Scientific metal detector. This unique arrangement eliminates the expense of a separate conveyor for the metal detector.

Output signals from the metal detector and checkweigher operate independent rejects. One rejects metal contaminated products, while the other rejects off weight products. This feature keeps metal contaminated products separate from potentially reusable off weight products.

The checkweighers have the design capability of being basic checkweighers or sophisticated comprehensive statistical systems. Availability of three or five weight zones, 100 product set-ups, auto zero and a host of features such as scope free calibration make the checkweighers user-friendly.
