The DCX3 Data Collector is a lightweight and rugged trigger grip handle that provides operators with an intuitive measurement interface, simple click-to-measure operation. The DCX3 accepts any GapGun measurement head and can be connected to legacy mechanical or contact-based measurement systems using industry-standard RS232 or USB connections.

The bright, daylight-readable display shows your operators exactly where to measure on your part, and provides clear feedback indicating how whether or not it is in tolerance. Data can be automatically logged in a variety of formats, either by Ethernet, USB, or directly onto your corporate quality database via 802.11 WiFi infrastructure.

The DIN rail mounting DCD3 provides the same clear user-interface for use in robot-controlled or fixtured applications.
