Cooled foil roller The film roll serves to roll a freshly extruded string into a foil and to wind this on a sleeve. The desired foil thickness can be set manually in the range of 0 to 5mm. The speed of the rollers (0 to 9 m / min) can also be infinitely adjusted on the control element with the aid of a frequency converter. The device has been designed for laboratory use and is used in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and plastics industries. On request, the two rollers can be cooled with a cooling medium (air or water). This cools the foil and reduces sticking to the rollers. All product-contacting steel parts are made of stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) or 1.4542 hard chrome plated. The transport rollers are rubberized to minimize slippage of the foil and to compensate for any irregularities. The rubber coating has a hardness of 65 SHA and is FDA compliant.
