Description

Pot magnets are powerful and flexible handling tools that are used across all industry sectors for the transportation, tensioning, fixation, assembly and lifting of ferrous work pieces. They are also known as flat holding magnets or flat grippers. Pot magnets are magnet systems with one exposed adhesion side and the other sides shielded by a galvanized steel pot. This design allows for the magnetic forces to concentrate on the adhesive side, which gives the pot magnet a much more powerful adhesion force than a single magnet. While pot magnets usually feature large diameters, bar holding magnets serve a similar function and are used in applications that require a great height. The choice between these two magnet systems ultimately depends on the specific application, the available space and the handling requirements. Pot magnet made of Neodym, with threaded bush, galvanized
