FacilityManager, Brady/TISCOR’s most advanced software system, is used by facility management departments in numerous industries to simplify their routine facility maintenance and equipment inspections. The solution is used with Windows-based Pocket PCs. Management personnel simply send tasks electronically to their employees’ hand-held devices outlining the items or areas that need to be checked. Once facility staff members receive the work requests on their mobile devices, they use the hand-helds to scan the identity barcodes at specific areas, conduct and record maintenance information on the spot by performing customized tasks that are prompted by the software, and upload the information to a central PC database. When in the field, unscheduled work orders can be generated on the hand-held device by the technician using the Work Order module.
