Tenax® UTS carbon fiber is an ultra high tenacity (UT) fiber for speciality applications, featuring an increased tensile strength with a higher rate of elongation than the HT-fiber. These properties allow an efficient and directed design for applications with the requirement to withstand high tensile load. The Tenax® UTS fiber has proven exceptional advantage over other reinforcements in applications such as pressure vessels, flywheels, high-speed spindles, drive shafts and various other applications.
