Induction Melting Furnaces for Steel AssayTMF

This furnaces are fit for melting ferrous metals, including steel scraps and iron ores. They may be equipped with an optical pyrometer infrared-sensible for temperature control.
TOPCAST induction melters use last generation generators either in series resonant topology or parallel resonant.
Generating an electromagnetic field in the range of medium frequency allows an optimum homogenization of the alloy. For this reason, the furnace can be used to melt steel scraps and iron ores, in order to pour an assay ingot to be sampled with an X-ray spectrum analyzer (XRF method).
Typical application fields are the recovery of metal scraps (iron, steel, aluminium, zinc and so on) and waste recycle.
Electrical insulation between coil and AC supply assures maximum operator safety while Digital electronics allows the programmability required to control any application.
An accurate design of the heating coil leads to a very high electrical efficiency.
Like other iron ore sampling equipments, the furnace is heavy-duty and can work continuosly at high melting rates
We may also supply the water chillers needed to cool the coil and the power generator.
