The basic feature of the gantry-type FRF milling machine and FRFQ machining centre is travelling portal. This portal enables a full use of table working area at minimal requirements on built-up area. Traversable potral columns are movable along the working table sides. Working table length delivered as standard can start from 4 000 mm to 16 000 mm. Table modular conception enables working table delivery with maximal table length of 24 000 mm. This machining centre is intended for machining of complex-shaped workpieces - such as moulds, press tools, dies etc. - having to be machined in five contour controlled axes (two rotation and three linear axes) according to the type of spindle head used. The machine parameters enable machining a wide range of materials, including the alloy steels and the light metal alloys. This machine has a fixed working table with constant height, which enables easy clamping and manipulation with heavy and large workpieces.
