FVC - Product description
FVC CNC is the machining centre with the fixed cross rail and with a vertical movement of the ram with the spindle. It is a modern machine tool with the high cutting parameters for the milling, drilling, boring as well as thread cutting. It is designed mainly for the productive machining of the moulds, die blocks or pressing tools as well as other complicated components. The components can be machined from 5 sides for one clamping in case of the utilization of the milling heads. Five-axis machining can be used for the extremely complicated components with the generally shaped surfaces. The complete marking of the machining centre is FVC XXX/x CNC, where XXX is the width of the table in cm and x is the length of the table in m (example: FVC 160/4 CNC).
The machining centre FVC CNC is controlled in three basic coordinates - X (clamping table longitudinal movement), Y (longitudinal movement of the slide with the ram) and Z (vertical movement of the ram with the spindle). The ram can be equipped by the electrospindle or by the milling heads that will extend substantially the technological possibilities of the machine. The centre is also equipped by the automatic tool change for 32, 40 or 60 tools. The machine can be supplied with different number of the storage places.
The FVC CNC machine is equipped by the digital AC servodrives SIEMENS for the feeds and KESSLER motor for spindle. It is controlled continuously by the systems Heidenhain iTNC 530, Sinumerik 840D or Fidia C 20.
