FPPC CNC is the machining centre with the travelling cross rail and vertical movement of the ram with spindle. It is a modern machine tool with the high cutting Parameters for the milling, drilling, boring as well as thread cutting. It is intended mainly for the machining of the large size (long) and very heavy workpieces as well as other components with the complicated shape from five sides at one clamping, or requiring 5-axis machining. The workpieces are fastened on the "clamping field" made from the cast iron clamping boards with the T-grooves anchored into the concrete foundation. The complete marking of the machining centre is FPPC XXX/x CNC, where XXX is the size of the Y coordinate and x is the size of the X coordinate in m (example: FPPC 300/6 CNC).
The machining centre FPPC CNC is controlled in three basic coordinates - X (cross rail longitudinal movement), Y (longitudinal movement of the slide with the ram) and Z (vertical movement of the ram with the spindle). The movement of the cross rail and the slide in one plane is controlled by gantry mode. The ram can be also equipped by the electrospindle or by the milling head that will extend substantially the technological possibilities of the machine. The centre is also equipped by the automatic tool change for 32, 40 or 60 tools. The machine can be supplied with different number of the storage places.
The FPPC CNC machine is equipped by the digital AC servodrives SIEMENS for feeds and KESSLER motor for spindle. It is controlled continuously by the systems Heidenhain iTNC 530, Sinumerik 840D or Fidia C 20.
