The ExploreR-HF RFID reader represents a new standard in ultra compact lightweight RFID devices that can be deployed in wireless or wireline environments connecting in a plug and play manner to host computers, handhelds, phones and smart phones.

The device is housed in a credit card sized case (50 x 80 x 13 mm) and weighs little more than 50 grams. It fits conveniently into a shirt pocket and snugly into the palm of your hand.

Combined with Tracient's TraceConnect software suite this product can be up and running in minutes. Bluetooth connectivity makes it a perfect retrofit option for businesses that want to add value to their investment in handheld technology.

Alternatively the USB interface allows for static mounting on a wall or counter for tagged items to be read in proximity. The device is also available as a basic variant without Bluetooth.

The Explore-R HF reader operates with industry standard RFID HF tags at 13.56 MHz and is ideal for Near Field Communications (NFC) type applications.
