High-innovative optical measuring system for wire and tube bending parts
With the TUBOSCAN S innovative optical measuring system geometric data
of tube and wire bending parts can be precisely measured within the blink of an eye.
The measuring system operates under photogrammetric procedure. The tube under measurement is applied to a light- transmissive surface and consecutively illuminated by several LED's, which are installed at defined positions of the measuring cell. The shadow images following from this are taken by a high-resolution CCD camera and evaluated by the well-known TeZetCAD tube software. In this way, the complete 3D model of the tube is generated in short time.
TUBOSCAN S allows for measuring of tubes and wires as well as bending figures with formed ends. In addition to tube bends with standard radii the device also manages to measure and document freeform bends.
The measuring system is well suited for quality assurance as well as for correction of tube bending data. It is available with different measuring ranges. Customer-specific requirements can also be considered for the layout.
