Description
TRENCH is the manufacturer for transformer instruments like the coupling capacitors that belongs to the DC capacitors. It is used in HVDC requisitions in addition with thyristor valves and can be utilized for Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV) control in substations.
The DC capacitors are also utilized for any type of HV test systems. The capacitor is accessible from 10 kV up to 800 kV. It has a serial resistance and has tolerable grading current. The capacitor has a great seismic withstand design which has a composite or porcelain insulator. It has also a built-in parallel grading resistor to ensure an equal voltage distribution.
