Advantages
Silicone is a flexible material that can withstand high temperatures. Vitryl can be used up to 200°C (240°C peak) and withstands repeated sterilization cycles.
Vitryl can also be used at low temperatures, while retaining its flexibility.
It is suitable for food contact. Alcohols up to 50% vol. can be carried in it.
Fitting
Barbed connectors with band, worm drive, screw or ‘O’ type clamps. Crimping is unsuitable. It can be fitted to smooth tubes with clamps.
