The TriAngle® HiSpeed series of autocollimators take advantage of a high bandwidth position sensitive photo detector for angle measurement rates up to 10 kHz. The analog signal output of the angular data enables the closed loop control operation for the fast adjustment or angular control operation. The strong laser illumination allows the TriAngle® HiSpeed to measure very small and low reflectivity surfaces.

The employed position sensitive detector of TriAngle® HiSpeed dissipates almost no heat and is vacuum compatible. For special applications in space science and high-energy physics, TRIOPTICS has developed dedicated vacuum compatible versions of TriAngle® HiSpeed, to be used e.g. in thermal vacuum chambers (TVC).
