on risk analysis our Safe Locks are designed to protect your
personnel and also prevent a stop caused by a door being
opened by mistake. This will reduce the risk of un-planned interruptions
to production which could be costly and damaging
to the machinery.
The use of simple ball-catches or standard locks to retain the
door in closed position would require the addition of a separate
safety switch to fulfill the safety requirement. The greater
number of separate components used increases the risk of
one element failing. Every conceivable safety function has
already been integrated into the Safe Lock.
