VAC350 Materials Handling System System Components A TSM vacuum-loading system is typically made up of the central VAC350 Vacuum Sequencer (or CP2000) a centralized vacuum pump station, dust filter (with integral blow-back cleaning), and individual vacuum loaders (situated on top of the material reservoir bins) Control Capabilities The VAC350 can control up to 40 remote Vacuum Loaders and 5 individual vacuum pumps, each with a central dust collector. To prevent production hang-ups each individual loader is allocated a “Fill Priority” ranging from one to five - all main components normally being given the highest priority. Various filling sequences can be pre-programmed by the operator depending upon priority of material requirements - making optimum use of each pump thus ensuring that a process is never starved of any ingredient. Pre-Fill, Fill and Post-Fill times for each loader may be entered via the Vac350 Operator Panel. Ease of Upgrade This is central to any TSM material handling system. Additional Vacuum Loaders can be serially connected in a ‘daisy-chain’ fashion and allocated an ID number. This is pre-programmed into the VAC350 Sequencer and the additional loader is automatically recognized, and added to the filling sequence.
