The DH 40.1 excavator is the largest model in the range of a new generation of hydraulic excavators. Its high-class design, comfortable cabin, easy attendance and maintenance, high performance, optimal energy utilization in the ESU hydraulic system and low fuel consumption are typical features of this range. The excavator is equipped with reliable PERKINS engines and a high-quality REXROTH hydraulic system and thus it meets the highest requirements as regards performance and reliability. Undercutting, loading and many other different types of devices can be connected to an excavator.

The new undercarriage design enables easy manoeuvrability and offers the ability to work and maintain stability on all types of rough ground. Stability can be increased by adjusting the track width. By selecting the bearing of caterpillar supporters it is possible to convert the undercarriage either to a standard model (excavator with an undercutting device) or to a heavy model (suitable for machines equipped with a loading device).
