Universal Pack
General Description:
Universal Pack's stick-pack machine, ALFA, is a vertical intermittent-motion machine to produce stick-pack sachets. The company's patented design to form film around dosing tubes is only one way Universal Pack ensures the reliability and efficiency its machines are known for worldwide.
Stick-pack machines operate with fixed sachet width and variable sachet length (different stick width is possible by changing mechanical parts).
They are built in 3 versions, according to the required reel width:
Alfa P (max reel width 400 mm)
Alfa M (max reel width 600 mm)
Alfa G (max reel width 1200 mm and more on request)
The machine's production speed is a function of the number of lanes and the cycle speed. However the maximum mechanical cycle speed is 100 cycles/minute.
The maximum number of lanes depends on the sachet dimensions and the cycle speed depends on product, film, dose, stick format and many other factors.
Auger Doser:
For non free-flowing products (containing fat that makes them lumpy, sticky and non-free flowing, or particularly powdery products) and free-flowing products Universal Pack has a long-standing experience of manufacturing extremely high-precision augers specifically suited and optimized for each individual product's characteristics and dose. Different augers can be supplied which are capable of handling a wide array of difficult products, such as coffee, 3-in-1 mixes, cocoa, chocolate powder, milk powder, dry sauce mixes, spices, baking powder, yeast, chemical and pharmaceutical powders, etc...
