The TouchStrip Fingerprint Authentication Solution consists of a TouchStrip Fingerprint Sensor (TCS3) and the Digital ID Hardware Engine (TCD42). This solution has been optimized for use in portable storage applications, conveniently enabling strong data protection. Alternative solutions require matching software to be installed on any machine where the drive is attached. Including the Digital ID Engine inside the drive enables full plug-and-play portability to any machine or OS, and insures that all authentication actions are fully protected from hacking attempts.
