The removal of mill scale is the primary objective for roll conveyor systems. Wheel blasting is the optimal process for cleaning plate and structural components prior to fabrication. Creating a surface profile on these components also provides a better surface for coating adhesion.
In a roll conveyor parts pass through a tunnel by means of a series of powered rolls. The blast wheels are located both above and below the work piece as it travels through the blast cabinet. The rolls are spaced according to the dimensions of the components being processed in the system.
