Disposable particulate filter mask
Spireor
Valmy
Valmy frees the user from the old respiratory valve technique to finally make the dream comfort come true.
It has taken more than two years of a costly research and development programme, which mobilised the entire company, for the Spireor® range of masks to be certified and patented in 2008. The main innovation is the use of new high tech fabrics which markedly reduce the breathing effort required when wearing a mask in a professional context of intensive use.
This new breathing comfort is further enhanced by a reduction in weight: 15 to 20g valve mask compared to 6g for Spireor, and by the softness of the fabric/face contact.
Thanks to its highly technological characteristics, Spireor emerges as the universal mask:
* It protects the wearer from air transmitted solid and/or liquid particles
* It protects the environment from all potentially infectious projections emanating from the wearer.
This last characteristic is what defines the operating mask; another requirement for hospital staff and surgeons: breathing without any constraint. SPIREOR has proved its excellence in terms of breathing effort and was consequently given the mark of 9.5 /10 by the GERES (French group of studies on the risk of exposure for healthcare workers).
And it was not long before users called for this innovation, because as soon as the tests had been carried out in collaboration with IPSOS, it was obvious that Spireor® had increased the gap with every other competing offer, as much in terms of performance against risks as in the comfort of use.
A few months later, several hundred European PPE distributors had already chosen Spireor®.
