The perpendicular grinding head and transverse feed have precision ballscrew and double rolling beeline slide guides, controlled by an AC servo motor and CNC system. The grinding head spindle bearing is a highly accurate centripedal force ball bearing, and table movement is controlled by a hydraulic transmission.
