Vanguard's line of heavy duty forklifts are rugged and dependable. They are designed for heavy lifting and material handling situations in almost any environment. These forklifts feature a wide trakc, high strength drive axle for safety and reliability in any operating conditions. The FD150 and heavier models also feature a fully enclosed, oil cooled multi-disc braking systemwith a built-in automatic worn disc warning system. The brake system is fitted with an air dyer to eliminate condensation in the brake lines. For the operator's safety and ease of use, the controls are centralized and within easy reach. These forklifts have a two-speed lifting system, which automatically adjusts the flow of oil to the lift cylinders. This system has a built-in unload valve to return oil directly to the hydraulic tank when the lift is not operating.
