The HMC series of CNC horizontal boring and machining centers are ideally suited for the machining of all kinds of prismatic workpieces and two-dimensional or three-dimensional curved surfaces. These machines are widely used in general manufacturing, automotive, shipping, textile and press mechanism, and the agriculture industries. The spindles of these machining centers is driven by a two-speed spiral ground transmission in increase spindle torque. The spindle incorporates precision bearings to provide higher spindle speeds with excellent rigidity and accuracy with a longer tool life. Machines with higher spindle speeds come equipped with a spindle oil chiller to minimize thermal expansion to the spindle.
