The Q and QD series of tow tractors are designed for short to medium distance towing in harbors, airports, factories, and mining operations. The Q series tractors are equipped with a mechanical transmission with a 5 speed gear shift and 1 reverse gear. The advantage of these models is that they have powerful transmissions for superior drive and traction characteristics, are easily controlled and are suitable for numerous applications. The QD series come equipped with a hydraulic transmission, multi-plate wet clutch, hydraulic torque converter, and a constant mesh transmission gearbox with reduction gear. These features give the QD models excellent traction and towing capabilities.
