The M74 series of vertical shaft rotary table grinders use the end face of the grinding wheel to grind parts. These machines are ideally suited for the grinding of large scale parts in the automotive, heavy equipment, machine tool and bearing industries. The rotary table employs an electromagnetic chuck with 80 to 120 N/cm2 of holding power. These grinders are ruggedly built but are precise, being able to grind to a surface roughness of Ra 0.08 with a parallelism of 0.02 mm over 1000 mm.
