With the VMI business model (Vendor Managed Inventory), both customer and supplier profit from the close dovetailing of their processes. The prerequisites for effective inventory monitoring are a reliable measurement data acquisition and the supplier’s ability to access the inventory data of the customer. VEGA supports VMI with sensors for level measurement, various options for wired and wireless data transmission and WEB-VV, a software for inventory visualization. VEGA also provides hosting for the inventory data.

The user-friendly inventory visualization program WEB-VV is just as suitable for an internal company network as it is for worldwide acquisition of inventory data. The data collected by WEB-VV are available as tables, bar charts and history diagrams. Inventory limits are actively monitored and reported, either time or event driven, e.g. via e-mail or SMS.
