Application area
WEIGHTRAC 31 is a mass flow measurement for precise bulk solids detection on conveyor belts and in screw conveyors. PVT is used as scintillation material.

Function:
A slightly radioactive source emits gamma rays which are damped when penetrating the medium. The WEIGHTRAC detector on the opposite side of the tank receives the rays, the strength of which is proportional to the density of the medium. From this, the WEIGHTRAC detector calculates the mass.
