Wireless pressure sensor Velomat Messelektronik
wireless sensor VUR
The air pressure sensors with UHF radio transmission are used as an alternative to cable-connected sensors in brake test stands.
The air pressure sensors work according to the principle of pressure force measurement on a membrane with wire strain gauge (DMS). In the transmission unit, the electric measuring signal is amplified, converted and transmitted to the receiver by radio. The transmission modules are battery-operated and of a hand-held design. The receiver decodes and converts the original sensor measuring signal as current output. The radio transmission works at ISM frequencies free of charge in the 70 cm range (433,1 - 434,7 MHz). Crystal-stabilised transmitter and receiver modules allow for a parallel operation of several channels. The range of more than 50 m ensures the operation in the workshop area.
The measuring frequency of the pressure sensor is ca. 100 Hz. The real parallel operation of the individual radio channels at different radio frequencies ensures a high scanning rate for all measuring channels.
