SPINDLE UNITS " MECRS"
The MECRS spindles series was designed and built to give high performance in a compact design whenever speed and accuracy are called for. The MECRS spindle range features rapid tool change and is blower-cooled, making it ideal for stone, marble and granite working.
STATOR: windings featuring double encapsulation
INSULATION CLASS: F or superior
BEARINGS: front: a couple of single row angular contact ball
bearings.
rear: single row deep groove ball bearing.
ROTOR: squirrel-cage rotor.
HOUSING: high resistance extruded aluminium.
BEARING HOUSING: rear and front bearing housing made of cast iron.
MOTOR COOLING: electro fan (patent pending) technology to allow optimal cooling even at lower operating speeds and improve noise reduction. This solution allows building more powerful spindles compared with models featuring traditional self air cooling.
BLOWER: powered by 380 three-phase 50 Hz.
DUTY SERVICE: S1; S6 60%
