The screw channel impeller is a conical formed impeller that starts directly into the suction inlet of the pump. The impeller is placed in a conical pump housing.
As an exception to other centrifugal pumps, the screw channel impeller pump is capable to handle liquids with a viscosity of 3000 mPa.s. This is actuated through combined centrifugal and displacement properties.
The pump is used for highly contaminated liquids or liquids with high solids concentration.
