Screw pump for viscous fluids
HUS series
VERDER
The HUS screw channel pump offers extremely high efficiency, even to the BEP without any power loss. The screw consists of a custom made impeller that ensures a high efficiency, also when pumping thicker fluids. The pumps have a wide outlet enabling pumping long fibers that may tangle and wrap.
The very clever and solid design of the HUS screw channel pumps make maintenance and lifecycle costs very low. Even when pumping high abrasive fluids, such as sandy slurries, there is a very low wear characteristic.
An impeller that is formed as a corkscrew lays in a cone shaped casing. The impeller has also the working principle of a corkscrew. Through the rotation of this screw the fluid is literally being pushed away. The cone form of this pump ensures a blockage free operation. The efficiency of the pump is becoming better when the viscosity of the fluid becomes higher.
