The main characteristics of our PV film (thin, lightweight and flexible), provides the ideal solution for integration with ETFE structures, as these structures are also lightweight and destined to be integrated onto roofs, building exteriors, car park awnings and similar applications. Such an application not only provides electricity but also necessary shading if integrated in transparent or translucent roof or facade structures.
Fluorpolymer membranes made of high performance ETFE are used in increasing numbers for ransparent and highly translucent roofs and/or facades. Transparent membranes are becoming more and more important, particularly where transparency to the whole spectrum of natural light is equired, and is to be combined with a lightweight structure to create an economical and sustainable solution.
