Type3 CAA V5 Based

In 2005 Vision numeric has celebrated its 3rd partnership’s anniversary with Dassault Systèmes.
Dassault Systèmes is the world leader in the development of PLM and CAD/CAM solutions distributed by IBM. CATIA solutions allow the definition and simulation of numerical products.

Vision numeric is one of the 4 main partners of Dassault Systèmes to implement complementary solutions

in CATIA V5. Type3 integrates typographic art into CATIA V5, thus allowing industrial parts to serve as communications tools.

Type3 Graphic, Type3 Graphic&Wrap and Type3 Gateway CAAV5 Based are based upon the Dassault Systemes V5 Component Application Architecture (CAA) and have been developed in close partnership with Dassault Systemes. They give CATIA V5 users integrated access to Type3 and increase the opportunities to include typographic art earlier in the product lifecycle.

These products are focused on providing design engineers with access to a specific range of tools to enrich industrial parts with logo designs, artistic texts, serial numbers, legal mentions, etc, directly in CATIA V5. As engraving and making publicity on industrial parts has become a trend that is here to stay, these new capabilities had to exist for ensuring the respect of the graphic standart from the graphic creation Studio to the Workshop. As a result of integrating engraving and decoration within the conception process, users benefit from immediate productivity gains.
