The Drilltronic is manufactured by Volumec, and is a tapping tool that has an utmost drilling capacity that ranges from 3 mm up to 16 mm in diameter if equipped with a twist drill The twist drill is available with thread sizes that ranges from M3 up to M16. The unit also has an utmost drilling capacity that is lesser than or equal to 30 mm in diameter if equipped with a cutter. The model has an operating area of up to 1,300 mm in radius, and has a rated drilling depth of up to 135 mm. The vertical trip of the column measures 500 mm. The Drilltronic comes with the Volumec Assisted Positioning System which is a control system, and has a touch-screen operator interface. DRILLTRONIC is the only integrated drilling and tapping units equipped with an innovative system developed with an articulated arm to give maximum working flexibility.
