The iCon is a fail-safe InterConnect method that provides versatility and convenience for test engineers. It combines signal, power and coaxial modules in one compact device. High density modules can be used for mating up to 320 signal contacts using VPC’s QuadraPaddle technology. Engaging the ITA and the Receiver only requires a quick half-turn of the handle. This engaging mechanism secures the connector while guaranteeing consistent performance up to 10,000 cycles. Its keying and guide pin configurations protect contacts from damage when using multiple connectors, and contacts have been recessed for added pin protection. The removable U-shaped cable clamp and slide-off cover allow modules to be pre-wired before assembly providing ease of installation and serviceability.

* Electro-Magnetic Interference is protected by the stainless steel fibers in the plastic cover and threaded metal coupling adapter minimizes unwanted noise and maintains signal integrity.
* For reduced wiring cost and ease of integration, the iCon receiver is capable of being mounted directly to PCBs.
