Rectangular duct heaters offer a means of raising the temperature
of air duct in circulation and are used in industrial
processes or in building air-conditioning applications.
When the circuit is closed (recycled air), the temperature rise
generated by the rectangular duct heater is limited to a few
degrees.
When the circuit is open (lost air), this rise can be of up to
400°C.
