This ready to use tape, is designed to protect hot and
cold water pipes which may be exposed to frost. Can
be used on supply and waste pipes as well as on
automatic fire sprinkler systems. To be fixed along a
heat emitter, or wrapped spirally around the pipe
(min. Ø 1" ), or around the tank to be protected. The
thermostat, pre-set to 3°C, should be in contact with
the coldest area.
Max. temperature : 65°C.

CAUTION : there should be no overlapping or contact
between two turns of the tape ; take care to leave
a minimum distance between any two turns.
When used on plastic pipes, add a thickness of aluminium
foil between the pipe and the heating tape.
Install thermal insulation around the pipe.
