Description

The high-precision tool, the Walter F2139 profile mill, is utilized for finishing freeform surfaces. A particularly diverse range of grades and geometries are available for the exceptionally precise indexable inserts which are ground on all sides. This enables the tool to be optimally matched to the respective machining situation.

Maximum tool life is achieved as the Walter F2139 profile mill features a special grade for hard machining which has matched geometry. The symmetrical body makes it ideal for HSC machining. When working with long projection lengths, tools can be used which have solid carbide shanks for vibration dampening. An exceptional workpiece finish is achieved due to the incredibly accurate indexable inserts that are ground on all sides.
